In 2014, while working in charge of beverage inventory at a hotel in Miami Beach, I came across a few French wooden wine crates — beautiful, aged, and full of character.
They weren’t just boxes. They were pieces of history, each branded with the mark of a vineyard and carrying the spirit of where they came from. I took a few home, unsure of what I’d do with them, but inspired by their design and weight.
That first inspiration led to my very first project: a wall entirely made of branded wine panels. It sparked something creative in me. From that moment on, I started collecting these crates across the city, restoring them, and transforming them into everything from trays and décor pieces to custom furniture and artwork.
Since then, we’ve recycled thousands of pounds of wood, giving each piece a new life while honoring its original story.
